The 10 days (9 nights) Uganda tour features visits to 6 national parks including Murchison Falls Park, Bwindi Forest, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Mburo plus the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary. Watch out for exciting activities like gorilla tracking, game drives, launch trips, birding, nature walks, chimpanzee tracking, and community visits among others. Below is a detailed itinerary including day by day activities and accommodation.
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Pick up and Transfer to Lodge
Our guide and company representative will gladly meet and pick you from the airport on arrival and take you to the Kampala city where you will be spending the night. It is just an hours drive from the airport.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhinos Sanctuary
wake up to a hearty African breakfast and start your journey to Murchison falls national park, making a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to enjoy the sight of black and white rhinos which have been rehabilitated here. These were once extinct here in Uganda after suffering at the hands of poachers during Amin’s reign. You will then proceed to Murchison falls national park.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat ride
This is also another interesting day with so much to do and see, enjoy an early breakfast and embark on a morning game drive that will take you through gorgeous landscapes that are comprise savanna grasslands. Be ready to view some of these animals, and on your lucky you can see them all, see leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalos, birds as well as several antelopes. Later that afternoon, you will take a boat ride to River Nile at the base of Murchison falls and enjoy the spectacular view of the gushing water that sprinkles some of its refreshing water into your face. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest
From Murchison fall national park you drive to Fort Portal after breakfast which is a long but scenic drive as you drive past neat fields of tea plantations as you reach Fort Portal. Accommodation: Chimpanzee Guest House
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy the best chimp tracking in Kibale forest today as well as enjoying the other 12 species of primates the park has to offer. The tracking is quite tough though chimpanzee can be viewed easily, do not be taken up, these are shy apes, get your camera ready and capture them swing in the tree canopies. Since you have packed lunch, no need to back to the lodge, have your lunch in the car or a beautiful spot and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Boat ride on Kazinga Channel
Explore Queen Elizabeth today in a morning game drive in search of the diversity that the park offers before going for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which has the largest concentration of hippos in the world and best water birds. Enjoy birding all the way and the return to Queen Elizabeth National Park to rest.

Day 7: Drive to Bwindi National park via the Ishasha sector
Enjoy morning breakfast and get ready to depart Queen Elizabeth National Park for Bwindi. Your guide will take you through the Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions, this could be an approximately 2 hours game viewing drive, there after proceed to Bwindi National ParkAccommodation: Buhoma Community rest Camp
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking
You will enjoy trekking the giant apes of Bwindi called mountain gorillas. This thrilling activity can take from 2 -7 hours but this will feel less at the end of this joyous exciting encounter. This is the so far the best highlight for a wildlife trip to Uganda, meeting the gorillas face to face.You will spend the night at the park.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo Park & Game Drive
Today you drive to Lake Mburo where you will enjoy a game drive in the mosaic like habitat made up of dry slopes, rocks, swamps, open and wooded savannahs. Don’t miss to catch sight of zebra, impalas, topis, elands, and currently you can encounter the giraffes.

Day 10: Morning nature walk & Departure
In the morning you will enjoy a guided nature walk enjoying the African sunrise before you start your journey back to Kampala to catch your flight later that evening.
