Lake Mburo national park is among Uganda’s national parks that are blessed with a variety of wildlife and the perfect park to begin or end your safari in Uganda. The Park is the smallest savannah national park found in western Uganda about 240km by road about 4 to 5 hours drive, the park has a variety of wildlife that almost contradicts its small size in comparison to other national parks in Uganda. Encounter a number of mammals over 68 mammal species such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and Rothschild giraffe among others. Day 1: Departure for Lake Mburo National Park and boat ride in the afternoon
After a morning breakfast at the hotel in Kampala, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about your 2 days safari in lake Mburo and then drive towards the western part of Uganda via the beautiful rolling hills and landscapes and towns of Lyantonde and Masaka where you will have a stopover for lunch and the proceed to lake Mburo for the boat ride.
Upon arrival in the park check in at the lodge and go for boat ride on lake Mburo which is home to amazing experience due to its variety of wildlife and bird species, meet animals such as huge population of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, zebra, impalas, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and many others who come close to lake shores to quench their thirsty and take a shower. Birders also have a great chance to stop variety of bird species like African fish eagle, king fishers, weaver birds, sun birds, heron, red bishop, the grey crown crane mentioned by a few. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and return to Kampala
Enjoy your morning breakfast, meet your guide and go game drive through the park which takes about 3 to 4 hours, this morning game drive is a suck rewarding experience full of varieties of wildlife species such as herds of buffaloes, huge population of zebras, impala, topis, spotted hyenas, warthogs, leopards though mostly seen at night and many more.
After the game drive, return to the lodge and checkout the head to Kampala via Masaka town for lunch, equator experience takes photos, and then proceeds to Kampala or Entebbe reaching in the evening.
